Brittaney and Ryan are from central Illinois and both love helping other people. You can tell that by their profession, but also Ryan’s best man made that very clear in his speech. These two had some major time apart during their engagement while Brittaney was in New York as a traveling Covid-19 nurse. She told us stories about meeting people that were different than her, being a midwest gal, but she was glad to be able to help them out and treat their needs while she served their area.

Robert and Shelby are both from Illinois but chose to have their wedding at wait for it…. Mark Twain Cave!!! No they didn’t actually get married inside the cave, but we did get to go inside. These two were a great wedding to start the year off with, the both have a huge love for family, and an even bigger love for Jesus.

We met Lauren and William at several bridal shows leading up to their wedding. At each one we talked about wedding video and they were interested but weren’t ready to pull the trigger. When we reached out one last time about a month before their wedding they decided to go for it. WE ARE GLAD THEY DID!

With both of these two being in the medical field, Seth a doctor and Lauren a nurse it was only a matter of time until these two met and hit it off. They had an elopement planned out of the country but with Covid rampant they moved dates and made it a local more intimate wedding feel. No one to stand up with them, no bridal party, just Seth and Lauren. This made for a more relaxed easy flowing day. We had ample time to spend with them not being on a tight schedule and really let them let loose and get some natural lovey shots together out in the field and around the property.

Dylan and Amber were married at the end of September in 2020 at Pointe D’vine Winery. They had a perfect outdoor ceremony with their family and friends. After that they partied the night away with a great reception in the barn!

Kelsey wanted a wedding video, she inquired with us several times and just never pulled the trigger. Then Drew reached out to us, we put two and two together that it was the same wedding. Drew said he wanted to surprise his bride with a wedding video. Drew is a hard working man, and said this day was all too special to not have it documented. The day came and it was looking cloudy, it didn’t stop this couple from having a great time. Their wedding party was huge, and we managed to sneak in some group shots and couple shots in the vineyard between rain storms.

These amazing ladies met us at a bridal show in January of 2020 but we were already booked for their date. With all the Covid rescheduling we had their date free up. They reached out and secured their date with us about a month before their wedding

Kirsten and Dusty forged through with their wedding in the Fall of 2020 despite it meaning a smaller wedding. Their venue at Dick Brothers was beautifully decorated by Wendy Hillyer from DK Boutique, from the fabulous altar to the perfect table decor. The bottle house across the street made a perfect spot for their first look and couple pictures. Brenna Pherigo, the photographer, always is on point with directing the couple and helping the romantic session go smoothly. The couple and their guests danced the night away to celebrate their new life together.

Sully and Lindsay decided to forge through and have their wedding in the Fall of 2020. They were married at the Lewis Playhouse in Canton, MO and even had movie posters made to hang in the frames outside the theater! After they were married we went back to Quincy, IL to their reception venue, One Restaurant and Bar, which is an old movie theater turned event space. They danced through the night and enjoyed finally being married.

Landon and Sydney were married on his families property, The Smokin Gun Event Center, on April 10th 2021. Both being from the Hamilton and Warsaw area made travel easy for family and friends to join them. Having an intimate smaller ceremony and then a larger reception is a perfect way to start a marriage.

Jordan and Vanessa were married at the end of April in 2021 at Lutheran Church of St. John in Quincy, IL. Vanessa had a perfect outside first look with her father, and then a first look with Jordan during their church ceremony with their family and friends. After that we traveled to beautiful south park for some wedding party photos and a special photo op with their german shepherd!

Brennan and Dana celebrated their marriage to each other on May 22nd at St. Anthony Church in Quincy, IL. Their relationship started way before St. Anthony’s though, Dana recalls being at a bar and seeing this guy with a “cute butt” across the room. After a few shots she garnered up the courage to ask him if she could grab it. Brennan was totally cool with it and that night eventually led to an evening motorcycle ride that ended in a surprise proposal with their family and friends down by the river.

Johnny and Alyssa were married May 29th at Lake Hill Winery outside of Carthage, IL. After waiting almost a whole year because of Covid restrictions the couple and wedding party were ready to have some fun! The skies were blue and it wasn’t too hot and their family and friends were able to enjoy the day mask free!

Sarah and Kirk were one of our favorite weddings of the year. This is our second time filming at the Gold Hills golf course and its been a treat each time. The views are beautiful and the sunset is phenomenal!
